Looking out from a rocky beach at low tide towards a headland on the left. The rocks are dark and jagged but streaked with veins of quartz, and the headland is wearing a misty veil of low cloud, which is approaching us low over the cliffs and sea from the horizon, cloudless blue sky above that.
