I am in Cornwall, near England. Male. He/him/his. I have recently-realised ADHD and on the fringes of accepting there may be some autism mixed in there too. I have MS, diagnosed twenty years ago – the Wobbly part of the blog name refers to how I walk – and sundry other health challenges.
I'm challenging them well so far, in that I'm still alive.
I have a dog, some bikes, and a camera. The dog doesn't cycle or take pictures, so I do that sometimes. Albeit not so much at the moment due to the aforementioned health challenges.
I don't work full-time now, just a bit of freelance holiday property management, but I spent most of my career selling photographic equipment to people. Then later I sold photographic equipment in much bigger quantities to stores, who then sold it to other people.
I am married to J. She made me remove the word 'currently'.
I have two children from my first marriage that are now fine adults. My ex-wife gives me no credit for them being fine adults. They do though.
I also drink tea, cook, eat, and potter about pretending to know what I'm doing in the garden. I rediscovered reading a couple of years ago, which I did voraciously and probably to the exclusion of all else as a child, but was forever being told to get outside and play like a normal kid. I've always been a sci-fi fan, but I'll read plenty of other stuff too.
I have created and destroyed more blogs than I can count since 2012, but this is the first one that I've put my own name to. Although Bear isn't actually my legal name, so technically I still haven't put my own name to it.
Closer than usual though.
